For years The Community Association of Whitecroft has had a dream to offer a community park and playground to provide their neighbouring families of Whitecroft, Sun Peaks, and Heffley with a safe place to gather and play. A place where community events can be held, and memories can be made.

 

This dream is now becoming a reality! With a generous donation on behalf of the family of Nanci Wilson, the Community Association of Whitecroft and The Whitecroft Water Society now has a location for such a dream. So in honour of this wonderful gift to our community, it has been decided to name the new park “The Nanci Wilson Park".The land will provide the two associations with the space for a new community well/filtration system, as well as a community park. Inside its fenced area will be a playground, a roofed concrete pad for community events, a concrete pad for sports such as basketball and ball hockey, and a pump track.

 

At this time we are now working on fundraising for the above park’s features, which is estimated to cost $400,000 in total for its three phase construction plan.
